Cecilie Elisabeth Rudolph is a Danish textile, print and material designer as well as a researcher.

She holds a BA in Textile Design with a specialty in print from the renowned Central Saint Martins’ School of Art and Design in London, from which she graduated with honors in 2014.

She is a highly passionate, hands-on designer with an explorative and experimental approach towards creating. She is very tactile and focuses on the ability of the senses as a function enabling us to both see and touch, but also manipulate the mind. Thus, she often exploits the possibilities of fabric manipulations.

After having returned from London, Cecilie has established a multidisciplinary design studio, C.E.R. STUDIO, in Copenhagen. From here, she does unique art, innovative textile and material experiments, prints for the fashion industry, and commissioned design projects for both private customers as well as companies.

When Cecilie collaborates with customers, it is crucial to her to understand the history and visual identity of the customer. She believes that it is necessary to show respect towards their historical background and incorporate it in a new context, reflecting both them as well as her own design universe.

Cecilie has exhibited her work at renowned design fairs such as Milan Design Week, Mood Brussels, the critically acclaimed Restless Futures exhibition in London, where she was chosen by The Guardian as their ‘Top 10’ thing to see at the London Design Festival, and finally she was chosen as an up-coming talent to watch at the Ambient Messe in Frankfurt.

Her work has been published by Frame Magazine, Elle Decor Italy and India, Futu Magazine, The Guardian, MD-Magazine, Olive Korea, Inhabitat and many more.

Cecilie is always open for collaborations and exiting projects.
